Who we are
This policy covers studio.kiamsiap.com, the portfolio of kiamsiap Studios, and every prototype published beneath it. “We” and “us” mean kiamsiap Studios, which is based in Malaysia and is responsible for the personal data described here under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

What we collect
Visit statistics (Google Analytics)
Every page uses Google Analytics 4 to tell us how the site is used. When a page loads, Google receives the address of the page, the page that referred you, your browser and device type, screen size, language, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. Google stores a random identifier in a cookie so that repeat visits can be counted. We see these figures as aggregated reports; we do not receive your IP address and we do not try to identify individual visitors.
Server logs
Like any web server, our host records each request it answers: your IP address, the time, the page or file asked for, your browser’s user agent and the referring page. These logs are kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them to build profiles.
Racing Line online races
When you create or join an online race in Racing Line, our server stores:
- the four-character race code and the circuit;
- the display name you type (up to 14 characters);
- the line you draw and your lap time;
- random tokens that let your device hold its seat, and the host control the race.
Anyone who has the race’s code or link can see the names in it and the lines drawn so far, and every time once the race is set. Please do not use your real name, or anyone else’s, unless you are content for it to be seen that way.
To stop any one connection from flooding the server, it also keeps a short-lived counter for each IP address. The address itself is not stored: it is put through a one-way hash first, and the counter is deleted after a day without use.
Fonts
Pages load their typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser requests it from Google’s servers, which see your IP address in doing so. No cookies are involved.
If you write to us, we keep your email address and message so that we can reply.
What we do not collect
There are no accounts, no forms that submit to us, no payments and no advertising trackers. Names typed into GBB Idol exist only in the open page and vanish when it closes. TelcoCompare.my writes your selections into the page address so the view can be shared; that address goes wherever you send it, but nothing is stored by us. Haze Watch loads public readings from the Department of Environment, served from our own site, and contains no personal data.
What stays on your device
Three prototypes remember things between visits using your browser’s local storage. This lives only on your device; it is not sent to us or to anyone else.

You can remove all of it by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. In a private window it is discarded when the window closes.
Why we use it
- Analytics — to learn which pieces people visit and how they reach them, so the work can be improved.
- Server logs and rate limiting — to keep the site running and protect it from abuse.
- Racing Line race data — to run the race you asked to play and let others watch it from its link.
- Email — to answer you.
By continuing to use the site you consent to this processing. You can withdraw that consent at any time by blocking cookies, not using the online features, or writing to us.
Data outside Malaysia
Google and our hosting provider operate servers in several countries, so data described here may be processed outside Malaysia. We rely on these providers’ own safeguards for data handled on their systems.
How long we keep it

Your rights
Under Malaysian personal data protection law you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold, and give you a copy;
- correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
- stop processing it, or withdraw your consent;
- remove a Racing Line race, or your name from one.
Write to kiamsiap@gmail.com. For a Racing Line race, include its four-character code. We will reply within 21 days.
Because we hold no accounts and do not receive your IP address from Google Analytics, we usually cannot link analytics data to a particular person. The opt-out in section 04 is the most effective control over it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Racing Line race files are stored outside the public web folder and cannot be fetched from a browser, and seat tokens are long random values that are checked before any change is accepted. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold, and would notify those affected, and the authorities, if a breach required it.
Children
The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has entered their name in a Racing Line race, send us the race code and we will remove it.
Changes
When a prototype changes what it collects, this page changes with it. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
